Six more lucky tanning pros have won their share of IST's Tanning Treasure!

Launched on December 1, 2005, Island Sun Times’ Tanning Treasure Instant Win Game offers hundreds of prizes from many of the industry’s top manufacturers. The game, which runs through April 06, consists of instant-win scratch-off tickets found in IST magazine – to win prizes from some of the industry’s top manufacturers, all you have to do is EXACTLY match three prize symbols on your ticket. Salon pros in North Carolina are sure doing their share of the scratchin’ & winnin!

Melissa Landry, office manager at Don’s Lock smith & Tan ning in Rockingham, NC was a big winner for March. She won the Twilight Teeth second prize – a twin-pack of teeth whitening kits valued at $78. “This is exciting!” she exclaimed. “Our clients are always wanting to try new things, and now we’ll have something else to offer them.”

Margaret Carroll-Bess, owner of Tanning Emporium in Spring Lake, NC, was the winner of Twilight Teeth’s third prize – a twin-pack refill kit valued at $24. “We’ve been playing Tanning Treasure the whole time, but hadn’t been lucky,” she commented. “I opened my February issue of Island Sun Times and saw the ticket, but I passed it over because I hadn’t won anything yet. After I got done reading the magazine, though, I went back and scratched off the ticket and was very surprised when I won.”

Twilight Teeth’s third was also won by Michelle Murray, manager of Sunny Side Up Tanning in Southern Pines, NC. “This is awesome because we we’ve considered offering Twilight Teeth products,” Michelle said. “We were all excited after the owner, Pam Whitney, scratched off the ticket and found out we won.”

Christy Wehunt, owner of Safari Tanz & Salon in Cherryville, NC was the lucky winner of a fourth place prize from Aztek Health & Beauty/Sun Gun – a coupon for $25 off any of the company’s popular salon products. “We just purchased the salon two months ago, so it’s exciting to win something!” she exclaimed.

Erin Hill, a team member at The Tanning Experience in Fayetteville, NC, has won the Sun Ergoline fourth prize – a bottle of lotion from T.W. Tan. “We’re definitely excited!” she exclaimed. “I don’t know exactly what lotion we want, but I’m leaning towards some type of tingle product because they’re very popular at our store.”

Dianna New, owner of Ultra Tan in Gastonia, NC, also won the Sun Ergoline fourth prize – a bottle of lotion from T.W. Tan. “It took us by surprise!” she exclaimed. “This was our first time playing the Tanning Treasure game, and we won. This is great!”

The six most recent Tanning Treasure winners join another four salon pros who scratched their lucky tickets in February. Amanda Matzenbacher, manager of Maui Tanning in Muncie, IN, won a one-year Salon Edge 2.0 software subscription. Patti Crowley, owner of Sun’s Up Tanning, won a $25 coupon from Aztek Health & Beauty/Sun Gun. The third Tanning Treasure winner was Adriana Coman, co-owner of Body Shades Tanning in Smyrna, GA, who also won a $25 Aztek Health & Beauty/Sun Gun coupon.
