Popular, economical and easy to use – there’s no reason why tanning pros
can’t boost their revenue with “the ultimate luxury” – body wraps by The
Set-N-Me-Free Aloe Vera Company.
The Set-N-Me-Free Aloe Vera Company specializes in making top-quality
body wrap products that it markets to the indoor tanning industry. These
wraps
feature cotton linens soaked in a toxin-cleansing and penetrating aloe-herb
solution; according to the company, the solution contains highly active
concentrates that tone and tighten the skin and boost cellular activity
in deeper tissue layers to restore elasticity and firmness. An entire
body wrap treatment takes about 70 minutes, during which the client lounges
comfortably for 45 minutes and enjoys aromatherapeutic benefits.
The secret to the treatment’s effectiveness is the aloe vera the company
uses. “The aloe vera we use is enzyme-active, which means it has not been
heated, cooked or pasteurized to kill the enzymes in it,” explained Jan
Heinrich, Set-N-Me-Free Managing Director. “These enzymes allow the mixture
to penetrate through the protein walls of the fat cells, moving toxins
into the lymphatic system where they can then be flushed away. The result
is body detoxification from which clients experience inch loss.”
Jan says learning the Set-N-Me-Free body wrap system is easy. “On average,
it takes about six practice treatments for the average salon pro to learn
to do the system correctly,” she said. “To help simplify the process,
we provide a video training program for our products and a toll-free number
for questions.” Getting started in the Set-N-Me-Free system costs about
$1,000. “It’s very easy to turn that into about $10,000, and most salons
are re-ordering within
about three weeks,” Jan added. The company also offers several other add-on
products such as its Lavender Spa Bath and Facial-Neck Wrap, as well as
others that help treat under arm sag, muscle pain, sore feet, stiff joints
and more.
These products and services can attract a different clientele to a tanning
salon, according to Jan. “It could attract clients who might not currently
tan indoors,” she said. “When a client comes to the salon weekly for body
wraps, it’s very easy to interest them in tanning, as well. Likewise,
many current tanners might also be interested in body wraps.” Jan says
that during some research, she discovered the company’s tanning and beauty
salon accounts report that, on average, 73 percent of all clients who
experience the body wrap return to purchase a series of the treatments.
The company started as a salon in 1980, and its body wrap services soon
became extremely popular, representing about 50 percent of its revenue.
Selling the products first to chiropractors and massage therapists, the
company soon branched out into beauty and tanning salons. All of Set-N-Me-Free’s
products are manufactured at the company’s 13,000 square-foot manufacturing
facilities in Portland, OR.
