By participating in the Island Sun Times/Light Sources, Inc. “We’ve Got Sol” Video Contest, participants accept and agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the judges, which shall be final, binding and conclusive on all matters.
SPECIAL CONTEST TERMS: Sponsors are not required to award more than the stated number of prizes in any prize category. If for any reason beyond the Sponsors’ control, this Contest is not capable of running as originally planned, becomes infected or otherwise corrupted, Sponsors, in their sole discretion, reserve the right to modify, suspend or terminate this Contest without notice and without liability.
ENTRY SUBMISSION: Video Contest entries will be accepted from 12:00:01 a.m. pacific time on 6/1/07 until 4:59:59 p.m. pacific time on 09/09/07. Proof of entry submission does not equate to proof of receipt. In case of a dispute over winner’s identity, entry will be deemed submitted by the IP address owner or the owner of the phone number submitted for contact information. In the event winner is a business, a manager or authorized officer will appoint an individual as the winner. Individual will be solely responsible for any taxes. Sponsors not responsible for entry submissions, incomplete information, incomplete transmission defaults, computer server failure and/or delayed, garbled or corrupted data. All entries become the exclusive property of the Sponsors and will not be returned or acknowledged. Any attempts by an individual to access the site via a bot script or other brute-force attack will result in that IP address becoming ineligible.
ELIGIBILITY: Island Sun Times/Light Sources, Inc. “We’ve Got Sol” Video Contest is open only to legal U.S. residents currently residing in the 50 United States and Washington, D.C. and who are Professional Tanning Salon Owners, 21 years of age or older. NO OTHER PERSONS MAY ENTER; THIS GAME IS NOT OPEN TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC. Island Sun Times/Light Sources, Inc. corporate employees or members of their immediate families or households are not eligible. Void where prohibited, taxed or otherwise restricted by law. All federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply. All taxes are the winner’s sole responsibility. Prizewinners may be required to complete an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability Release, and, except where prohibited, a Publicity Release. If required, all documents must be returned within ten (10) days of receipt or the prizewinner will be disqualified. No cash substitution or prize transfer is allowed. By participating in this Contest and claiming a prize, each winner consents to the use of his/her name, photograph, voice recording and likeness for publicity purposes without additional compensation or permission, except where prohibited by law.
PRIZES: All other expenses, not expressly stated herein, are the sole responsibility of each prizewinner. No prize substitutions or cash alternatives are permitted and prizes are non-refundable and non-transferable except at the sole discretion of the Sponsors. Sponsors make no warranty with respect to the Grand Prize. All taxes are sole responsibility of the winner. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute prize of equal or greater value.
RELEASE OF LIABILITY: All entrants release Sponsors and their parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, officers, directors, agents, employees, and all others associated with the development and execution of this Contest from any and all liability with respect to, or in any way arising from this Contest and/or acceptance or use of the prize.
