Dear Readers;

Wow! This issue is huge! Hope you get some time to read all the great stuff we’ve put together for you; get a look at the Expo Preview, Brenda Fishbaugh’s interesting stories about her trip to Australia (Thanks, Bren!), and the results of our fourth annual Season in Review Survey. Thanks to all who participated in the survey, and congrats to Betty Johnson of North Carolina who won 500 bucks just for doing it right!

We’ve also got the latest on the regulatory front, including matters in North Carolina and California – our writing staff has their ears to the ground and are in constant contact with the key people in our industry…count on IST to keep you up to date on these important issues.

Speaking of key people, the new and re-elected members of the ITA Board of Directors are ready to protect and strengthen our industry; read their thoughts about this important post on page 133. If you run into these dedicated tanning professionals at the Expo, extend your hand in congratulations and let them know you support their efforts.

Congratulations to many others are also in order; we’re proud and excited to announce the nominees for the Industry Choice Awards – see pages 169-170. Solar Seminar attendees will be the first to find out who wins this prestigious honor and a beautiful trophy, too. It will be a party you won’t forget…don’t miss it! You can still register for Solar Seminar – we have a lot of excitement planned and hope to see you there.

In closing, I want to personally say “happy trails” to the long-time leaders of Four Seasons Sales & Service, Ronnie and Johnny Allen – two of the greatest guys you’ll ever meet.  I know I speak for many when I wish them all the best and hope they’ll keep in touch with the friends they’ve made over the past 20 years.
